Douglas W. Oliver will appear before U.S. Magistrate Clifford Proud on Aug. 21, according to federal court documents.
Oliver, 47, formerly of Fairview Heights, is the son of Deborah Perkins, who pleaded guilty last month. Perkins is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 6. Both Perkins and Oliver were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute heroin.
A federal court document stated that Sean McGilvery, a friend and former client of former St. Clair County Judge Mike Cook, conspired with Perkins and Oliver to purchase $50,000 worth of heroin in Chicago.
